Notes and references

  1. This property was mysteriously located at Mont au Pretre, St Helier, in the datestone list in volume one of Old Jersey Houses, and this mistake has been perpetuated in the Datestone Register
  2. This stone has been wrongly and somewhat vaguely attributed by the Datestone Register, copied by HER, as for 'Elie or Edouard Bisson and possibly Anne Le Feuvre. There is no such marriage, whereas the marriage of Elie Bisson and Anne Laffolet appears in our database and a Jerripedia family tree
  3. This stone is something of a mystery because Elie on the previous stone lived until 1777. It is possible that the stone refers to work done on the property by his son, also Elie
