This mid-18th century four-bay house retains its historic scale and proportions with original character and features. It contributes to the rural roadside setting.

This building is shown on the Richmond Map of 1795. The main house is 1734 and the outbuildings 19th century. Gable to the road.

Notes and references

  1. Very little is known about this couple. Rolin was born in St Peter in 1703, the illegitimate son of Marie Laffoley. It is most unlikely that his wife's maiden name was also Laffoley. They were married in England in 1731 and then returned to Jersey. They had a daughter Marguerite in 1735, the year after marking their ownership of Mon Sejour with the datestone
