Historic farm group with farmhouse of 18th century origins, retaining historic character and proportions and contributing to the rural setting.

Early 18th century origins. A building is shown on this site on the Richmond map of 1795.

The house was remodelled in the mid-late 19th century. Gate posts dated 1897.

Two-storey, five-bay farmhouse with two-storey wing to west. Outbuildings extend to west, returning to north.

The Jersey Datestone Register suggests that the three datestones below represent successive generations of the Le Masurier family and says that lack of marriage records to support this view is because there are records missing in this era for St John and Trinity. We do not accept this argument, and while there are records to support Jean and Susanne being the parents of the third Jean, we do not believe that Jean/Josue and Jeanne Hue were grandparents. It is possible that the first Jean was an uncle of the second, but our research indicates that the father of the middle Jean was Abraham Le Masurier
