La Société Guernesiaise

La Société Guernesiaise was founded in 1882 to encourage the study of the history, natural history, geography and geology of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, the conservation of the Bailiwick’s natural environment and the preservation of its historic buildings and monuments.
It has sections dedicated to the study of Guernsey's Archaeology, Astronomy, Botany, Climate Change, Entomology, Family History, Geology & Geography, Historic Buildings, History & Philology, Marine Biology, Nature Conservation, Ornithology and a junior section.
It has published the annual Report and Transactions since its formation in 1882.
