Historic Environment Record entry
Listed building
This comprehensive farm group retains its historic fabric and proportions and thus contributes to the rural setting. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
The very thick gable and rear walls may date from the 15th century.
The different coloured stone elevation indicates refronting in 1794.
Old Jersey Houses
Volume Two: 'The front facade is slightly chequered in the colouring of the granite, but the shades are so harmonious that the result is delightful.'
The entry otherwise only mentions the datestone and does not reveal anything about the age of the property
