Guillaume Stury, Warden of the Isles 1354-1357

Stury received the wardenship of the islands by letters patent of 20 March 1354, to take effect from 2 April and last for three years.

He undertook to provide the exchequer with 200 livres annual farm but he stipulated that this should be set against the claim he had against the King of £466 13s 4d.

Unfortunately no more information survives about Stury's wardenship or his career and family background.
