Notes and references
- ↑ Like other Allo immigrants in Jersey, Jean Francois was born in Ploeuc-sur-Lie, Brittany. He married Marie Louise in Trinity, Jersey on 11 September 1880, followed by a civil marriage in Plaintel, Brittany, six weeks later on 24 October. Jean Francois was the son of Yves and Anne, nee David, and Marie Louise was the daughter of Charles and Marie, nee Morel. Although her family name was recorded as Le Cocq in Jersey, the family name appears to have been written as Coq in France. Although the couple were undoubtedly related to other Allos in Ploeuc, they do not fit into either of our family trees
